| first off.....what and why do slaves serve? Well.. to serve one Master or a Mistress is a slaves opportunity to show what is truly in their heart and soul...their "slave belly" so to speak. In a slave’s serve they are showing devotion to the ko-lar that they wear be it a personal ko-lar or a City/Camp ko-lar. This girl loves to serve...to serve to this one is a honor that is bestowed upon her...to be able to get a Master or Mistress what they require makes this one’s pulse race...her heart to pound in knowing that by doing so she is doing what she can as a mere slave to bestow honor to her Master’s ko-lar... it matters not if a girl serve her Master or another Master or Mistress...just that she serves. Some tips if You are new to the particular place You are serving in. please take the time to observe a serve or two to see the methods of the slaves that are from that place as many places have different sets of rules or styles that they follow... many places have certain ways of cleaning the vessels... some allow tasting other don’t... some allow a drink to be sweeten from the girls heat...others do not. There are many ways of serving and many styles....it all depends on the City/Camp that You visiting... so please take the time to observe a serve or two...and if You are called upon to serve before that happens... do not be afraid to ask a kajira from there in a "PM" or if there is a slave coordinator or trainer there...most often they will not mind a "PM" either. Another very important thing for a slave is to "NEVER" touch the rim of the vessel with Your lips....kiss the SIDE of the vessel. Never kiss the rim as it shows a blatant disrespect by placing your lips where a Free person may touch. and to quote... Captive of Gor, pg 302 "He extended the goblet to me. Drink, he said, offering me the cup. I looked at the rim of the cup. I shook with terror. A slave girl dares not touch with her lips the rim of that cup which has been touched with the lips of her master, I whispered. Excellent, said Verna." |
| I If one is not already at the Master/Mistress’s feet ask to approach. |
| II Approach the Master/Mistress and kneel in nadu if Master...Tower if Mistress if white...always kneel in tower |
| III Ask if You may serve them... "may a girl serve You this night" |
| IV Repeat the drink or food order...that way if You read it wrong you can be corrected before you bring the wrong thing...and if you don't know what something is..."ASK"... |
| V Rise and take three steps back for honor, devotion and respect before turning around and heading for the servery. |
| VI Pick the appropriate vessel... checking the rim for mars...(on wrists, thighs...collarbone...nipples....anywhere you wish generally.)...clean the rim with a rep.... not your hair...cleaning with your hair is a online mannerism that is not true Gor. |
| VII Proceed to get the drink or food and prepare it if necessary...remember.....botas are for traveling and should not be used unless under certain circumstances... most are in bottles or pitchers...Ulos are knifes slaves are allowed to use to prepare food...generally chained down...and in the servery for food preparation. |
| VIII Move back to the Master/Mistress with the drink/food and kneel in nadu.....tower if Mistress or white silk -- NOTE -- be descriptive...don't just saw kneeling in nadu/tower...remember ....this is your moment in the spotlight. |
| IX Here gets a bit tricky....some places require testing the drink...others only if asked...and some it is absolutely forbidden... if a drink is to be tested... do not ever touch the rim of the vessel... tip the vessel so a single drop falls on your tongue and taste it...and then hold the vessel to your heart.....waiting at least 3 not more than 5 heart beats. |
| X Gently caress the "SIDE" of the vessel... "NOT" the rim with your lips in a gesture of devotion....and rise your arms high in the air....lower your head to your arms and present the drink by repeating what you brought......ex...."Master/Mistress...this girl has brought You Your paga in hopes that it will quench and satisfy Your thirst this eve...and a girl hopes that her serve was pleasing to You in a small way." |
| XI When drink is accepted..... move your arms quickly back to rest palm up if nadu...palms down if tower to your thighs....raising your head high...and lowering your eyes once more to await further needs or to be released. |
| 1 During a server "NEVER" speak to anyone...do not greet....do not converse with sisters....do not do anything but the serve. |
| 2 In some homes it is acceptable to ask if the Free wishes anything else for them or if you may return to chores or serving others or to serving furs....but "GENERALLY" this is considered very disrespectful to ask to be released...you "MAY" ask to be of further service. |
| 3 White silks...... remember "NO HEAT" in your serve unless you are serving Your personal owner... |
| 4 And girls.... if you use extreme heat in your serves...do not throw a hissy fit if the Free wishes to use you after...if you use heat...be prepared to follow through. |
| 5 Restricted girls..... remember "YOUR" restrictions placed on you.... just because you are restricted does not give you a free card to use such extreme heat to appear to beg the Free’s sexual |
| The drinking of the tea along with the ceremony signifies the three stages in life and the work and gain achieved in life. • 1st Cup • Signifies the bitter fruits of life... the gain had from the work of others , bitter due to the fact it was taken and not earned. • 2nd Cup • Signifies the contentment of adulthood... the gain from the work of one’s own hand, through hard fighting but the gain always seems elusive. • 3rd Cup • Signifies the enlightenment that comes with the experience and old age... the perfect union of one’s own hard work coupled with the knowledge that everyone needs help from others at times as well. |
| Just some basic steps to help one so that nothing is left out with this very ceromonial serve. Remember....the Bazi tea serve is one of the only cermonial serve that a girl/boy will have...so learn the steps and practice. 1) Enter the servery and place teapot... three tiny cups and jar of bazi tea leaves... yellow and white sugars all on a tray. 2) Go to the cooking fires... fill the teapot with hot water...swirling it around to heat the pot...dump the water back in the kettle and refill the teapot with hot water once more. 3) Carry the tray to the One You are serving... kneel and place the tray before You to prepare the tea 4) Place three pinches of bazi tea leaves in each cup... pour in the hot water and swirl it around. 5) Add one spoon of white sugar to the first cup... one spoon of the yellow sugar to the second and one spoon of each to the third. Can be added all at once ... or in-between each offering of the cups 6) Kiss the side of each cup... lifting each cup in offering... telling what each cup represents... all three cups are drank in rapid succession. -- NOTE -- Do not forget to wait for the Master to take each cup and drink it and hand it back before lifting the next cup. |

Slave Serves
Collaring
Kajira of GOR pg. 235
"I am a virgin!" I cried.
"Excenlent," he said.
"Then, before the night is done you will be opened by Speusippus of Turia for uses of men."
I then on my belly, sobbing, began to crawl toward him.
"Stop," he said.
I stopped, puzzled. My body was still on the floor. I had not yet even come to the edge of those stinking furs.
"You are a free woman, he said, and you have much to learn. We will begin with simple things."
"Master?" I asked.
"Lie at my feet," he said, "and lick, and kiss and suck at them. When you have managed to learn to do that properly, I will give you further instructions."
"Yes," I wept.
"Yes, what?" he asked.
"Yes...Master!" I sobbed.
Master: "Assume the position of female submission."
kajira: Kneels, leaning back on her heels, her arms extended with wrists crossed, her head down between them.
Master: "Repeat after me"... "This girl, once (her name) of (her home city or town, or of Earth)"...
kajira: repeats the Master's words.
Master: "..here with submit herself, completely and totally, in all things..."
kajira: repeats this.
Master: "...to Him who is known as (His name) of Tyros..." kajira: repeats this.
Master: "... as His girl, His slave, an article of His property, His to do with as He pleases."
kajira: repeats this.
The Master produces the collar. If it is engraved with His name or an inscription, He reads it to her, making sure that she understands what it says and means. He places it about her neck and snaps it shut with a Click.
Master: "repeat...This girl is Yours, Master."
kajira: "this girl is Yours, Master."
At this point, any Freepersons in attendance will typically congratulate the Master on His new slave. When this is done, the Master will usually ask the slave the following three questions:
Master: "Who were you?"
kajira: Tells Him her former name.
Master: "What are you?"
kajira: "this girl is Your slave, Master."
Master: "What is your name?"
kajira: "whatever Master wishes."
The Master will then, if it pleases Him, give the girl her new slave-name which can be taken from her or changed at any time according to His whim.
Master: "You are (new slave-name)."
kajira: "yes, Master. this girl is (new slave-name)."
Silks
•Dancer of Gor, p. 128•
These girls are virgins, not merely reserved for her Master's sole use. In the novels, they are permitted to serve drinks and food and engage in conversation, but their sexual use is forbidden (until their Owner says otherwise). "Among slaves, not free women, these things are sometimes spoken of along the lines as to whether or not a girl has been 'opened' for the uses of men. Other common terms, used generally of slaves, are 'white silk' and 'red silk', for girls who have not yet been opened, or have been opened, for the uses of men, respectively." Or these slaves are in white silks as an indication they are for their owners sole use.
• Red Silk slave •
Red silk slaves are nonvirginal slaves. red silk is often worn by "pleasure slaves," and the two terms have come to be synonymous, though they are different things. Red silk slaves may generally be used by any whom desire her usage, but may be reserved for the sole use of the Owner if collared. Sometimes payment is made to the Owner for the use of the slave. Any uncollared slave who is red silk, should be prepared to be well used as red silk.
• Yellow •
(Mostly irc made up, unless, she is a tavern slut, Otherwise, then Y/you know that she has pissed on her silks)
Yellow silk was worn by tavern slaves in a few of the novels. A tavern girl's use is rented from the tavern owners and is usually included in the price of paga.
• Gray •
State owned slaves wear gray or striped slave livery (simple slave camisk).
• Black •
This is an un owned or kettle slave, an untrained slave, new to Gor. However, you will find unowned slaves in the novels to be naked because, well...the men prefer it that way! A common Gorean saying is that only a fool buys a clothed kajira.
•••These silk colours are and indication of a girls status only, slave will wear what ever her owner wishes she may be naked but still be classified a red silks slave.•••
• Slave Dress •
A slave owns nothing and has nothing unless it is given to her by her Owner. This is a list of some common items worn by slaves.
• Bina Beads •
These beads are cheap jewelry, usually made of plain metal, string, and wooden or glass beads.
• Camisk •
A simple garment, about 18 inches wide, it is shaped like a poncho, split completely down the sides with a slit for the head. Just long enough to cover the slave's bottom, it is held in place at the waist by a piece of chain or binding fiber.
• Chalwar •
Baggy pants made of diaphanous silks, these pants are worn by slave girls of the Tahari. They are similar to the harem trousers of Earth.
• Chatka •
Worn like a breech-cloth, the chatka is a strip of black leather, 6 inches by 5 feet long, worn over the curla. The chatka is worn by slaves of the Wagon Peoples.
• Curla •
Worn by slaves of the Wagon Peoples, the curla is the red waist cord which supports the chatka.
• Kalmak •
The kalmak is a vest of black leather worn by slave girls of the Wagon Peoples.
• Kes •
The kes is a short tunic of black leather worn by male slaves of the Wagon Peoples.
• Kirtle •
a soft woolen dress worn by the bond-maids of Torvaldsland it ties at the front under the breasts, shows a lot of leg and cleavage. Traditionaly the only piece of clothing a bond-maid wears.
• Koora •
A strip of red fabric, the koora is worn as a headband by slaves of the Wagon Peoples.
• Piercing •
The piercing of a girl's ears is considered the ultimate degradation. Unlike nose piercing, a practice common among Free Women of the Wagon Peoples, and sometimes used to increase the beauty of female slaves, pierced ears are a very visible sign of a girl's slavery (U>even a brand and collar can be hidden under clothing). Piercing a girl's ears virtually guarantees she will always be a slave.
"To the Gorean, the piercing of the woman's ear, with its analog of penetration, and the fixing in it of earrings, chosen by the Master, ornamenting her for his pleasure, is an act of power and claimancy scarcely less significant than her branding and collaring."
"Perhaps then, for the first time, I truly began to sense how the Gorean views such things. Surely these things are symbolic as well as beautiful. The girl's lovely ears have been literally pierced; the penetrability of her sweet flesh is thus brazenly advertised upon her very body, a proclamation of her ready vulnerability, in incitement to male rapine."
• Pleasure Silk •
• Dancer of Gor, pg 225 •
A diaphanous, clingy form of silk, pleasure silk is worn only by slaves. There are a large number of ways in which slave silk is worn. It can be worn, for example, on the shoulder or off the shoulder, with high necklines or plunging necklines, in open or closed garments, tightly or flowingly, and in various lengths. Sometimes it is put on the girl only in halters and G-strings, or mere G-strings...the tying of slave girdles, with such silk, and otherwise, to emphasize the girl's figure and make clear her bondage, is an art in itself. Often, too, and as usually in paga taverns, it is worn in brief tunics. Most of these are partable or wraparound tunics. Such may be removed gracefully...like some regular slave tunics, have a disrobing loop, usually at the left shoulder...a tug on the disrobing loop drops the tunic to the girl's ankles...
In the books, if O/one will read, O/one will learn that when a slave was in white silks, she did not go to red silks through training. She, a slave went from white silks to red silks when her Master sexually took her virginity. Red silks are a simble that a slave is no longer an innocent, but a woman slave of passion to be used as He saw fit. Also in the books, slave did not wear yellow silks, unless they were tavern slaves. The testing of silks was started in irc, to train online slaves how to be more pleasurable for Masters and Mistresses alike. It seems that this tradition will continue. Any slave that wishes to be of Tharna must be tested not for silks, but of hers or his skills, and to better adjust to the stone that she or he lives in.
Testing levels
Testing levels
What follows are minimum requirements in study to have mastered to move from one level to the next. Still slaves should have read the rules pages, the customs pages and other pages as questions of increasing difficulty may be added in the testing sessions. Testing is done in camp by the Ubara, Free Women kaji trainers or training slaves. Upper level slaves are also allowed to train those slaves in ranks below them.

A Slave's Visit
A slave's visit begins with an entrance message appropriate to their level. Longer and more seductive as their levels advance.
Next, the slave greets those in the room in proper order: their Owner, Ubar, Ubara, Free Camp Members, first male then female, then Visiting Free in the same order. Then the slave is free to greet brothers and sisters. Exceptions are when a slave's Owner wishes Ubar to be greeted first and when there is a Visiting Ubar or Ubara, they get preference.
The slave is then to offer to serve the Free in the same order as above, skipping, of course, those they see already being served.
When not needed to serve, the slave should do a four post chore and get it on the chore board. Then they are free to relax, but should, when Free Members or Visitors arrive, offer to serve.
When free, the slave should ask permission to eat some slave gruel. Other activities they can engage in if they like are bathing, games with other slaves, practicing dances.
When a slave leaves, she is to ask her Owner permission or that of the highest ranking Free. If no free are in the room, the slave should say farewell to sisters and brother. If alone, just go.
If a slave has to leave abruptly because of real emergencies, just go. But when coming back, explain the quick exit was unavoidable.
If a slave enters and the room is empty, a chore should be done before leaving. A slave should never sigh or complain that the room is empty. If the slave has time, the slave should stay in as long as possible after the chore is done. Other browers can be opened and other things can be done while keeping an eye on the camp in case any come in. The more people are in camp, the more people will visit and wish to be part of Kataii.
The above is, of course, an ideal that will rarely be able to be accomplished each time a slave visits. But the closer a slave is able to live up to this idea, the more the slave will be valued by all in Kataii.

Kajirus
A kajirus, to me, is a complex, yet simple, relationship between him and his owner
By flamesbear
A male slave within the Gorean lifestyle of John Normans books, just like kajira is a female Gorean slave, but are not as highly valued as kajira. Like the kajira, there are different uses for a kajirus. Male slaves were used as sacrifice, fighting, pleasure, and doing things that other slaves couldn’t.
Although Norman doesn’t touch much on the male silk slaves, it is assumed that they are trained almost the same as a kajira. They have a few dances of their own, and possibly kneel differently.
Kajirus are few in numbers though, apart from finding males acceptable of being a silk slave, usually only high ranking free women owned them. In a world dominated by males, you can understand why kajirus were not as common, or as treasured as the kajira.
Being a silk slave, there are four different types of silks a slave could possibly have. I’m not completely familiar with what sort of dances and serves, or any other training otherwise, that it takes to earn these silks, but I somewhat understand what they are.
White silks are reserved for the virgin slaves, and reserved for their Masters use only.
Yellow silks are for slaves that are open for use to more than just one person, and often were found in taverns or other public places like them.
A red silk slave is a slave who has been fully trained in serving, dancing, and pleasuring their Master, and can do these tasks better than most.
Lastly, Black Silks are for slaves who have been bread for specific attributes, and were usually trained in pleasure.
———————————————
We are required to have the knowledge of different positions, hand signals, serves, and language. After having the knowledge of these things, or even a basic knowledge, a kajirus can learn to attune himself to his owner and be able to accommodate for everything He or She will need. They can plan ahead of time, and they consider their owners in some way in every decision that they make.
An owner of a kajirus must also know all of these things and be attuned to their slave. In turn for their slave improving on something, learning new lessons, or doing something new that is good, they need to let the kajirus know that they have done well.
To be a kajirus is to understand yourself and your Owners. To be able to use your knowledge to make them happy and do what they ask without hesitating. Because you trust them to know what’s best for you, and that you know how rewarding it is to make them happy. Just knowing that you are that important to them makes you want to continue learning and keep trying your best. And because of all of this, I know that I will always want to be kneeling at Their sides.

Ideas For Me To Use {{kolar}}
She wore the Turian collar, rather than the common slave collar. the Turian collar lies loosely on the girl, a round ring; it fits so loosely that, when grasped in a man's fist, the girl can turn within it; the common Gorean collar, on the other hand, is a flat, snugley fitting steel band. Both collars lock in the back, behind the girl's neck. The Turian collar is more difficult to engrave, but it, like the flat collar, will bear some legend assuring that the girl, if found, will be promptly returned to her master. Bells had also been affixed to her collar. "She is Turian?" I asked. "Of course," said Kamchak. "In the cities," I said, "only Pleasure Slaves are so belled, and then customarily for the dance." Her master," said Kamchak, "does not trust her."

collar n. 1. the part of a garment that encircles the neck. 2. a band of leather, etc. for an animal's neck. 3. anything like a collar. vt 1. to put a collar on. 2. to seize, as by the collar.

New slaves are without exception given {AHS} ko-lars.
To reserve a slave before they are ready to be purchased, ask Aurora. Slaves acquired by Members outside of Aurora's Clan in spars, sales or submitting may retain their levels and be in personal ko-lars, but if such slaves are returnees, the rules for returnees applies, and Aurora reserves the right to accept or reject the personal ko-lar and the slave level as always is subject to review.

TYPES OF SLAVES
Aurora Hellstormm's slaves clothing
Among the Wagon Peoples, to be clad Kajir means, for a girl, to wear four articles, two red, two black; a red cord, the Curla, is tied about the waist; the Chatka, or long, narrow strip of black leather, fits over the cord in front, passes under, and then again, from the inside, passes over the cord in back; the chatka is drawn tight; the Kalmack is then donned; it is a short sleeveless vest of black leather; lastly the koora, a strip of red cloth, matching the Curla, is wound about the head, to hold the hair back, for slave women, among the Wagon Peoples, are not permitted to braid, or otherwise dress their hair; it must be, save for the koora, worn loose for a male slave or Kajirus, of the Wagon Peoples, and there are few, save for the work chains, to be clad Kajir means to wear the Kes, a short, sleeveless work tunic of black leather.Nomads of Gor, 30. Elizabeth had been clad in the brief leather of a ... wagon girl, simple, rough, sleeveless, and a short skirt on the left side slit to the belt, so that the saddle of the kaiila, mount of the Wagon Peoples, would be permitted her. Assassin of Gor, 301. The Wintering was not unpleasant, although, even so far north, the days and nights were often quite chilly; the Wagon Peoples and their slaves as well, wore boskhide and furs during this time; both male and female, slave or free, wore furred boots and trousers, coats and the flopping, ear-flapped caps that tied under the chin; in this time there was often no way to mark the distinction between the free woman and the slave girl, save that the hair of the latter must needs be unbound; in some cases, of course, the Turian collar was visible, if worn on the outside of the coat, usually under the furred collar; the men, too, free and slave, were dressed similarly, save that the Kajiri, or he-slaves, wore shackles, usually with a run of about a foot of chain. Nomads of Gor, "The collar has four common purposes, Master," she said, "First, it visibly designates me as a slave, as a brand might not, should it be covered by clothing. Second, it impresses my slavery upon me. Thirdly, it identifies me to my Master. Fourthly - fourthly -" "Fourthly?" he asked. "Fourthly," she said, "it makes it easier to leash me." The Following Four basic ko-lars are the standard ones used in Aurora though individual Owners may call their slaves by other names found in the canon as listed below. For information about male slaves in particular, see the kajirus page.

| kettle | The kettle ko-lar is a new slave to Gor. Duties include studying and observing. This slave speaks only when spoken to after greeting all Free Members in proper order. But when spoken to or greeted, this slave may respond. She is to focus on learning the duties of a slave, the positions and how to serve food and drink. In the absence of more experienced slaves, they may serve to practice, but, in the case of serving Visitors, it should be made clear it is for practice. This slave may be reserved for purchase with Ubar's permission. |
| tower | This is the ko-lar of a slave with experience in Gor but new to Aurora's kennels or raised from kettle status. She is to study and train. Other slave types
| Bath Girl: | Slave girls trained specifically to work the baths, both private and city-owned |
| Below-Deck Girl: | Slave girls that are kept below decks on a ship in small, tight cages. Below-Deck Girls have their heads completely shaved to keep as free of lice as possible. |
| Bond Girl: | This is a term for a slave girl used by the peasant villages. Theirs is a hard slavery, working the fields, pulling the plows, etc. Their collars are usually of binding fibers. |
| Bond-Maid: | This is the term for a slave girl of Torvaldsland, also referred to as a girl whose belly lies under the sword, as the girl sleeps at the foot of her Master, literally lying beneath His sword. Jarls of Torvaldsland draw a circle in the ground, called a "bonds-maid circle." A woman may enter of her own free will, though voluntary is not necessarily so, bound by custom, thus becoming a bond-maid, or slave. Also, these slaves are not locked in the typical locked Gorean collar. Instead, they wear the Torvaldlsand collar, a simple black band that is hammered into a half circle. The girl lays her neck into metal band, then it is formed the rest of the way, hammered and bolted shut. |
| Cage Girl: | Slave girls on a ship that stay above deck in small cages. They serve the pleasures of the sailors and are much resented by the Below-Deck Girls. |
| Chamber Slave: | A slave girl assigned to one of the many chambers of the Nest of the Priest-Kings to serve the "guest" that inhabits the chamber. |
| Coin Girl: | This is a slave girl, who, with a coin box and a triangular flat bell chained around her neck, is sent out in the streets to earn money from Masters, usually paga tavern owners, in return for her sexual use. These girls are very aggressive, knowing that if they do not bring home ample coin, they will be beaten severely. However, even a red silk may be forced by their Master to perform as a coin girl as a disciplinary measure. |
| Display Slave: | This is a slave girl whose primary purpose is for the display of her beauty to reflect the affluence of her Master. She is often chained in a coffle with other display slaves behind the palaquin or other transport of her Master. The display slave is not generally used sexually and is usually untrained in the ways of a pleasure slave. |
| Exotic Slaves: | Slaves bred for particular deforming traits which are considered to be appealing, such as a physical deformity to things more subtle as poisonous saliva; very rare. Passion Slaves are technically an exotic. |
| Fetch-and-Carry Girl: | A slave that is assigned to bring food and water to laboring slaves. It's a position of privilege, and often, a smug girl would find herself pulling the oars, while another girl becomes the fetch-and-carry girl. |

| Kajirus: | This is a male slave. In the traditional sense, per the writings of John Norman, male slaves are generally not sexual pets for free women, but are often assigned heavy laborious tasks. Most male slaves are captives of war or criminals and are seen as simply animals of the lowest sense. However, there are instances in which a Free Woman has kept a male slave or two for sexual use. However, because the Free Woman fears Her own slavery, She is rarely satisfied with their use, for yielding to the male slave could put her in great risk, that the slave will turn the tables upon Her, claiming Her as his slave. The male silk slave is very rarely a Gorean male, for they are too dangerous and seldom make good silk slaves. Male silk slaves are usually men of Earth. |
| Lure Girl: | This is a slave that is used by her owners to entice and entrap a free male; while she holds his undivided attention, he is captured and often sold to labor camps. |
| Mill Slave: | Slave girls that work the cloth mills. Their slavery is harsh, the days are long, and after their labors, and must still perform for the pleasures of men as well. |
| Mul: | A human slave of the Priest Kings; they wear the purple tunic of plastic. The Matok has been incorrectly described on many webpages as another sort of slave of the Priest-Kings. Please refer to the Encyclopedia to read about the Matok. |
| Paga Slave: | Slaves that work the taverns; their use comes with the price of a cup of Paga. |
| Passion Slave: | This is a slave girl who has been bred, not captured. Such breeding is for a particular trait, such as exquisite beauty or the shape of her lips. A form of an exotic. |
| Peasant Slave: | Slaves owned by the Peasants, their life is one filled with much hard and laborious tasks. Often, slave girls who are poorly disciplined need only be threatened to be sold to a Peasant to make them well behaved. |
| Pierced Ear Girl: | This is a slave girl whose ears have been pierced, and is considered the ultimate degradation to a woman. Because the piercing of the ear is noticeable to the naked eye, it guarantees that the girl will never be freed. Interesting enough, women of Tuchuk, whether Free or slave, openly accept the nose to be pierced, and proudly wear the nose ring of the Tuchuks. It is thought perhaps, that with the nose ring removed, the piercing is not as noticeable to the naked eye. |
| Prow Girl: | A type of display girl. These are slave girls that are cargo of a ship, only the most beautiful one selected to adorn the prow of the ship, thus displaying the riches of the captain |

Not permitted the use of her hands, save as a means of locomotion, she must also eat and drink from pans set on the floor, or, sometimes, to satisfy her thirst, she must lap the water permitted to her from puddles, or lick pillages from the tiles; too, it is not uncommon to chain her near her master's feet, while he dines, that he may, if he wishes, throw her scraps of food. She will also be taught tricks, through which paces she may be put for the entertainment of her master's guests, such things as begging, lying down, rolling over, and fetching his sandals in her teeth. And, needless to say, when her master wishes to use her sexually, it will be in a position common to the she-quadruped. |
| Whip Slave: | A slave who holds whip rights over the other slaves. Please also refer to the Slave Types and Slave Discipline pages for complete information. |
| Work Slaves: | Male prisoners that must work as laborers; usually for a set period of time, such as one year. Work slaves may also be female slaves, used for laborers, such as in an encampment or a city. |
| First Girl | Each free person owning a chain of slaves, always designates one girl to be their "first girl." She is the girl that has switch rights over the other girls in her owner's chain, as well as acts as trainer and task-master for these girls. The first girl is not always the first girl purchased, or the girl with the longest time spent with her owner. At any given time, the owner may designate a new girl in his chain to be first girl, and often an owner of more than one girl changes this often, so as to remind each girl of their absolute place in his ownership. The Ubar/Administrator of a camp, village, or city would, of course, own slaves. Because he is the ruler over his people, his first girl in his chain would be also, the head girl in his city or camp. |
| The Low Girl | The low girl is the girl, in a chain, or a camp, that is the newest, or the least liked, or the most that needs training. She is low girl. She must seek to please the other slaves in her chain or camp, or face severe beatings. |
Silks and Slave Outfits
Clothing varies from area to area on Gor and of course depends on the Owner’s wishes. This is a list of some of the basic slave apparel in different cities of Gor.
“The camisk is a rectangle of cloth, with a hole cut for the head, rather like a poncho. The edges are commonly folded and stitched to prevent raveling. The camisk, I am told, normally falls to the knees...The camisk, I am told, was at one time commonly belted with a chain. However, the camisks that I have personally seen, and those we were given, were belted with a long, thin strap of leather binding fiber. This passes once around the body, and then again, and then is tied, snugly, over the right hip....The belt of binding fiber not only makes it easier to adjust the camisk to a given girl, but of course, the binding fiber serves to remind her that she is in bondage. In a moment it may be removed, and she may be secured with it, leashed, or bound hand and foot....The camisk, in its way, is an incredibly attractive garment. It displays the girl, but provocatively. Moreover, it proclaims her slave, and begs to be torn away by the hand of the master. Men thrill to see a girl in a camisk.”
Captive of Gor, 64.
‘She wore a high tight vest of red silk, with four hooks; her midriff was bare; she wore the sashed chalwar, a sashed, diaphanoustrousered garment, full but gathered in, closely, at the ankles; she was barefoot; her wrists and ankles were bangled; she was veiled; she was collared.’
Tribesmen of Gor, 105.
This is the term used to denote a slave who is clad in the way of the Wagon Peoples, this clothing varies for the kajirae and kajiri. For the female she wears a red cord called the Curla tied around her waist which holds in place the Chatka, a narrow strip of black leather that passes through her legs. The Kalmak which is a black leather vest and the Koora, a strip of red cloth which holds her hair back. Akajiri must only wear the Kes, which is a sleeveless black work tunic.
“Among the Wagon Peoples, to be clad Kajir means, for a girl, to wear four articles, two red two black; a red cord, the Curla, is tied about the waist; the Chatka, or long , narrow strip of black leather, fits over the cord in front, passes under, and then again, from the inside, passes over the cord in back; the chatka is drawn tight; the Kalmak is then donned; it is a short sleeveless vest of black leather; lastly the koora, a strip of red cloth, matching the Curla, is wound about the head, to hold the hair back, for slave women, among the Wagon Peoples, are not permitted to braid, or otherwise dress their hair; it must be, save for the koora, worn loose. for a male slave orKajirus, of the Wagon Peoples, and there are few, save for the work chains, to be clad Kajir means to wear the Kes, a short, sleeveless work tunic of black leather.”
Nomads of Gor, 30.

“She was blond; she was barefoot; she wore an ankle-length white kirtle, of white wool, sleeveless, split to her belly.”
Marauders of Gor, 81.
“I slipped on the bit of silk. I looked in the mirror and shuddered. I had been naked before men, many times, but it did not seem to me that I had been so naked as this. It was Gorean pleasure silk. Not naked, I seemed more than naked.”
Captive of Gor, 322.
‘She wore the briefly skirted, sleeveless slave livery common in the northern cities of Gor; the livery was yellow and split to the cord that served as her belt; about her throat she wore a matching collar, yellow enameled over steel.’
Assassins of Gor, 7.
“Joyfully I drew on the garment, slipping it over my head and fastened it, more tightly about me, by the two tiny hooks on the left. The slit made the garment, a rather snug one, easier to slip into; the two hooks, when fastened, naturally increased the snugness of the garment, drawing it quite close about the breasts and hips; deliciously then, from the point of view of a man, the girl's figure is betrayed and accentuated; also, the two hooks do not close the slit on the left completely, but permit men to gaze upon the sweet slave flesh held pent, held captive, within.”
Slave Girl of Gor, 76.
“Eta pulled at the bit of rag she wore. "Ta-Teera," she said. I looked down at the scrap of rag, outrageously brief, so scandalous, so shameful, fit only for a slave girl, which I wore. I smiled. I had been placed in a Ta-Teera.”
Slave Girl of Gor, 81
“Men in the fields wore short tunics of white wool; some carried hoes; their hair was close cropped; about their throats had been hammered bands of black iron, with a welded ring attached.”
Marauders of Gor, 82
The single garment of these women was the Turian Camisk. I do not know particularly why it is called a camisk, save that it is a simple garment for a female slave. The common camisk is a single piece of cloth, about eighteen inches wide, thrown over the girls head and worn like a poncho. It usually falls a a bit above the knees in front and back and is belted with a cord our chain. The Turian camisk, on the other hand, if it were to be laid out on the floor, would appear somewhat like an inverted "T" in which the bar of the "T": would be beveled on each side. It is fastened with a single cord. The cord binds the girl at three points, behind the neck, behind the back, and in front at the waist. The garment itself, as might be supposed, fastens behind the girls neck passes before her, passes between her legs, and is then lifted and, folding the two side of the T`s bar about her hips, ties in front. The Turian camisk, unlike the common camisk, will cover the girls brand; on the other hand, unlike the common camisk, it leaves the back uncovered and can be tied, and is, snugly, the better to disclose the girls beauty.
Nomads of Gor, 90.
The girl in the long, light chain smiled at me. She, at any rate was pleased by my response. A wrist ring was fastened on her right wrist. The long, slender, gleaming chain was fastened to this and, looping down and up, ascending gracefully to a wide chain ring on her collar, through which it freely passed, thence decending, looping down, and ascending, looping up, gracefully, to the left wrist ring. If she were to stand quietly, the palms of her hands on her thighs, the lower portions of the chain, those two dangling loops, would have been about at the level of her knees, just a little higher.
Kajira of Gor, 143.
“His girls served nude and chained. Each ankle and wrist ring had two staples. Each girl's wrists were joined by about eighteen inches of chain and similarly for her ankles. Further each girl's left wrist was chained to her ankle and her right wrist to her right ankle. This arrangement, lovely on a girl, produces the "four chains," from which the establishment took its name. The four-chain chaining arrangement, of course, and variations upon it, is well known upon Gor. Four other paga taverns in Port Kar alone used it.”
Explorers of Gor, 42
‘I felt then the encircling clasp of metal closed about my waist, and then, swinging up between my legs, another piece of metal. These things were fastened into place, the right side, and the lower portion, hasp like, over the staple on the left side of the apparatus. The whole then, was secured behind my back with a padlock. Once again, I wore an iron belt.’
Mercenaries of Gor, 99.
“Then, when I was absolutely naked, a golden collar, to which a chain was attached, with wrist rings and ankle rings, was brought. It was a chaining system of that sort called a sirik. My chin was thrust up and I felt the golden collar locked about my throat. Almost as the same time my wrists, held closely together before me, were locked helplessly in the wrist rings. In another instant, my ankles, held, were helplessly in the ankle rings. A chain then ran from my collar to the chain on my wrist rings and from thence, the same chain, to the chain on my ankle rings. My ankle rings chain was about twelve inches in length, and my wrist chain was about six inches in length. The central chain, where it dangled down from the wrist rings, lay on the floor before the throne, before it looped up to where it was closed about the central link of the ankle ring chain. “
Kajira of Gor, 185-186
“Unresisting, the girl extended her wrists, and the soldier snapped slave bracelets on them--light, restraining bracelets of gold and blue stones that might have served as jewlery if it had not been for their function.”
Tarnsman of Gor, 102
The chain she wore was a work sirik. It resembles the common sirik but the wrists, to permit work, are granted about a yard of chain. Like the common sirik, it is a lovely chain, Women are beautiful in it.
Kajira of Gor, page 145
“The most exact translation of 'bina' would probably be "slave beads."
Kajira of Gor, 82
“I waited my turn before the mirror and applied the cosmetics of the Gorean slave girl. I knew well how to do this, for I had been trained.”
Captive of Gor, 322
“The sound was tiny, rich, sensuous. They were slave bells. They would draw men to my body. I moved slightly. I felt them stir on my body and on the loops that held them. So slight a movement made them sound!”
Kajira of Gor, 84
Man. Sometimes the perfumes are created especially for one particular slave.
A rich master will often have individual purfumes specially blended and matched to the slave nature of his various girls. All are slaves, completely, but each girl, collared, imbonded, is deliciously different. Some slave purfumes are right for some slaves, and others not.
Tribesmen of Gor, 230
“Angrily Alyena, the former Miss Priscilla Blake-Allen of Earth, took the tiny, triangular yellow veil, utterly diaphonous and held it before her face, covering the lower portion of her face. The veil was drawn back and she held it at her ears. The light silk was held across the bridge of her nose, where, beautifully, its porous, yellow sheen broke to the left and right. Her mouth, angry, was visible behind the veil. It, too, covered her chin. (and later) The slave veil is a mockery, in its way. It reveals as much as conceals, yet it adds a touch of subtlety, mystery; slave veils were made to be torn away, the lips of the master then crushing those of the slave.”
Tribesmen of Gor, 69-70

Slave Rag
Another name for Ta-Teera. A scandalously short garment of brown cloth, normally torn or ripped, held together by two small hooks which pull the garment tight about the body, accentuating every curve of the slave.“Joyfully I drew on the garment, slipping it over my head and fastened it, more tightly about me, by the two tiny hooks on the left.

The Gorean Slave Rag, it is scandalously short and of brown cloth, fastened tightly about the body to accentuate every curve of the slave which wears it. It is an utterly sensual garment. See Slave Rag for more info.“Eta pulled at the bit of rag she wore. "Ta-Teera," she said. Turian Camisk
A form of camisk unlike the standard camisk. It is shaped like an inverted 'T', fastens at the back of the neck, passes through the girl's legs and then is tied about her waist. It is much more snug than the standard camisk and often covered the brand area. The single garment of these women was the Turian Camisk. Chains and Other Accessories
Dancing Chains
This chain arrangement is used with certain dancing styles. The slave is fastened within bracelets to which very light gleaming chain isattached, the chain is looped up through a loop in her collar. There is much that can be done with this arrangement. The chain passes freely within the loop.
Kajira of Gor, 143
Four Chains
This type of chaining is more complicated than most. The slave wears ankle and wrist rings to which two chains are attached. The ankles and wrists joined together by eighteen inches of chain each and then the left ankle joined to the left wrist, the right ankle to the right wrist. It is possible to move and serve within this chain arrangement.“His girls served nude and chained.

Iron Belt
The iron belt is the Gorean version of a chastity belt. It consists of a piece of metal encircling the waist and a secondary piece which swings up between the legs and is padlocked in back.‘I felt then the encircling clasp of metal closed about my waist, and then, swinging up between my legs, another piece of metal. These things were fastened into place, the right side, and the lower portion, hasp like, over the staple on the left side of the apparatus. The whole then, was secured behind my back with a padlock. Once again, I wore an iron belt.’

Sirik
A chain system with a collar from which flows a chain down to the slave's feet, off of this chain are chains with terminations for the ankles and wrists of the slave.“Then, when I was absolutely naked, a golden collar, to which a chain was attached, with wrist rings and ankle rings, was brought. “

Slave Bracelets
Light, restraining bracelets which lock when snapped closed. Perfectly capable of holding a female slave captive, some are made stronger for use with male slaves though most use manacles for males.“Unresisting, the girl extended her wrists, and the soldier snapped slave bracelets on them--light, restraining bracelets of gold and blue stones that might have served as jewlery if it had not been for their function.”
Tarnsman of Gor, 102
Work Sirik
Much like the standard sirik with the exception that the wrists are granted about a yard of chain instead of the normal twelve inches, to permit ease in working. The chain she wore was a work sirik. It resembles the common sirik but the wrists, to permit work, are granted about a yard of chain. Like the common sirik, it is a lovely chain, Women are beautiful in it.

Beauty Accessories
Bina
Cheap jewelry and beads used most often to adorn slaves.“The most exact translation of 'bina' would probably be "slave beads."
Kajira of Gor, 82
Makeup
There are many varieties and shades of slave makeup but most are of dark colors, barbaric, meant to enhance every feature.“I waited my turn before the mirror and applied the cosmetics of the Gorean slave girl. I knew well how to do this, for I had been trained.”
Captive of Gor, 322
Slave Bells
Small bells which are used in bracelets, anklets, threaded through hair, or attached in other ways to slaves. Their sound is a barbaric sensual melody.“The sound was tiny, rich, sensuous. They were slave bells. They would draw men to my body. I moved slightly. I felt them stir on my body and on the loops that held them. So slight a movement made them sound!”
Kajira of Gor, 84
Slave Perfume
Rich, heavy, normally musky perfumes, created so as to enflame the senses of a A rich master will often have individual purfumes specially blended and matched to the slave nature of his various girls. All are slaves, completely, but each girl, collared, imbonded, is deliciously different. Some slave purfumes are right for some slaves, and others not.
Tribesmen of Gor, 230
Slave Veil
A small veil, a mockery of a Freewoman's veil. Diaphonous, it covers the nose and mouth of the slave and is primarily used in theTahari and for certain dances.“Angrily Alyena, the former Miss Priscilla Blake-Allen of Earth, took the tiny, triangular yellow veil, utterly diaphonous and held it before her face, covering the lower portion of her face.

| Women are not the only gender that may be enslaved on Gor. Men also may face that fate, though in far fewer numbers. The number of male slaves on Gor is very low, especially in the cities. Only about 10% of all the slaves on Gor are males. Men captured during wars or raids are usually slain instead of being taken captive and enslaved. Most male slaves are either debtors or criminals though a small number are captives.Male slaves are mainly enslaved for economic reasons, as cheap labor. The Gorean philosophy of "natural order" supports female slavery but it does not support male slavery. Gorean society though recognizes the validity, legality and economic necessity of male slavery. It is a more practical decision and not one based on a deeper philosophy. Under these justifications, anyone can be enslaved. Not all societal institutions need be based on an underlying philosophical foundation. Some are simply practical concepts. Few male slaves are considered valuable and they generally do not garner high prices, even at auction. The primary exceptions are male silk slaves and exotics. The normal high price for a male slave, not a silk slave or exotic, is a silver tarsk. Many female slaves would sell for more than that amount. There are also very few male slaves with long pedigrees. There are few reasons to breed male slaves except as exotics. Nearly any Gorean man can serve as a typical work slave. The most common types of male slaves are the work slaves. They are usually used on cargo galleys, mines, great farms or as porters on wharves. Many cities use male slaves for some of the more unpleasant labor in the cities, such as in the refuse pits or cleaning the public baths. Most men work on chains with other slaves. In some cities like Ar, an unchained male slave is rarely ever seen. The most valuable male slave though is usually the silk slave, a certified woman's slave, akin to a Pleasure Slave. They are handsome men who have been specially trained to tend to a woman's needs. They are sold in special women's auctions that are closed to free men. Silk slaves generally sell for higher prices than many female slaves. Most silk slaves will sell for four to six silver tarsks. This is basically a matter of supply and demand, as there are very few such silk slaves on Gor. Most Gorean men make poor silk slaves. There are masculine and feminine male silk slaves. Some women fear the more masculine ones, worrying that such men will turn on them one day, enslaving them. Others secretly delight in that possibility. The feminine ones are rarely used for breeding. Free women think little of hiding their naked bodies from their silk slaves. Many free women though will not kiss their silk slaves as they do not wish to put their lips on a slave. A silk slave grows to know his Mistress quite well and is able recognize her body even when she is robed and veiled. Gorean men generally despise silk slaves and do not treat them well. When a city is captured, the victors often kill the silk slaves out of disgust. Male slaves rarely have locked collars. Normally their collar is a band of iron hammered about their neck. There is also no distinctive garb for male slaves as Goreans do not want them to discover how numerous they are, especially in the cities. The wool of the hurt is often used for male slave garments as it absorbs perspiration well. In many cities, female slaves must always openly wear a symbol of their bondage such as a collar. Male slaves are exempt from this law for the same reason why they do not wear distinctive garb. Goreans worry about a revolt by male slaves. Female slaves normally despise male slaves. They consider themselves the rightful property of only free persons. It is considered a great shame for a female slave to have to touch a male slave. Male slaves though are often permitted to have a female slave for their pleasure, especially as a reward. But, a male slave might be killed for touching a female slave without permission. Female slaves show contempt toward male slaves because they do not see them as real men, because they have been made slave. Male slaves commonly kneel, like women do. They do not sit cross-legged like Free Men. Depending on the preference of their master, their knees may be spread or not. It is more expensive to feed male slaves than females slaves. In many other ways, male slaves are treated like female slaves. They are still considered only property. They must show respect to all free persons and are subject to discipline by any free person. Male slaves though receive more opportunities to win their freedom though usually only in very dangerous situations. Male slaves might be freed and armed if their city is being attacked and additional men are needed. Few Earth men are brought to Gor to be slaves. |
Lads chores
|
| male slave | The male slave is a new slave to Gor. Duties include studying and observing. This slave speaks only when spoken to after greeting all Free Members in proper order. But when spoken to or greeted, this slave may respond. He is to focus on learning the duties of a slave, the positions and how to serve food and drink. In the absence of more experienced slaves, they may serve to practice, but, in the case of serving Visitors, it should be made clear it is for practice. |
| work slave | A work slave has experience in Gor but new to Kataii or raised from male status. He is to study, train, greet, do chores and serve food and drink in tower, meaning no showing of heat. he may enjoy some affection as in being hugged and held in a Free's lap and may be reserved for purchase when he reaches kajirus status and then allowed to fur. The work slave is to familiarize himself with those chores most appropriate for a strong lad. |
| kajirus | The kajirus is to study and train under the guidance of those more knowledgeable, greet, do chores serve food, drink. he is also free to be used sexually. | silk slave | The silk serves Frees fully, offers food, drink and is free for sexual use. This slave does chores and helps newer lads to learn. He is to impress with his desire to please. He is to continue to learn as well. These kolars can be stripped at any time. |
kajirus Quotes
“For a male slave, or Kajirus, of the Wagon Peoples, and there are few, save for the work chains, to be clad Kajir means to wear the Kes, a short, sleeveless work tunic of black leather.” Nomads of Gor, 30 "The Wintering was not unpleasant, although, even so far north, the days and nights were often quite chilly; the Wagon Peoples and their slaves as well, wore boskhide and furs during this time; both male and female, slave or free, wore furred boots and trousers, coats and the flopping, ear-flapped caps that tied under the chin; in this time there was often no way to mark the distinction between the free woman and the slave girl, save that the hair of the latter must needs be unbound; in some cases, of course, the Turian collar was visible, if worn on the outside of the coat, usually under the furred collar; the men, too, free and slave, were dressed similarly, save that the Kajiri, or he-slaves, wore shackles, usually with a run of about a foot of chain." Nomads of Gor, “The small, heavy lock on a girl's slave collar, incidentally, may be of several varieties, but almost all are cylinder locks, either of the pin or disk variety. In a girl's collar lock there would be either six pins or six disks, one each, it is said, for each letter in the Gorean word for female slave, Kajira; the male slave, or Kajirus, seldom has a locked collar; normally a band of iron is simply hammered about his neck; often he works in chains, usually with other male slaves; in some cities, including Ar, an unchained male slave is almost never seen; there are, incidentally, far fewer male slaves than female slaves; a captured female is almost invariably collared; a captured male is almost invariably put to the sword; further, the object of slave raids, carefully scouted, organized and conducted expeditions, is almost always the acquisition of females; commonly one cylinder is struck, its bridges sealed off, its compartments broken into and ransacked for gold and beauty; the men of the compartment are slain and the women stripped; those women who do not please the slavers are slain; those that do have the goods of the compartment tied about their necks and are herded to the roof, with whip and slave goad, either to be bound across tarn saddles or thrust bound into wicker slave baskets, covered and tied shut, carried beneath the great birds in flight; sometimes, after only a quarter of an Ahn, before adequate reinforcements can be summoned, the slavers depart with their booty, leaving behind a flaming cylinder; slavers can strike any city but they are particularly a scourge to those cities which have not trained the tarn, but depend on the ponderous tharlarion.” Assassins of Gor, 50. “I was barefooted; my only garment was a short woolen, sleeveless tunic; on both the back and the front of this tunic was sewn a large block letter, the initial letter of the Gorean expression ‘Kajirus,’ which means a male slave.” Assassins of Gor, 282. “I knelt head down, before the square iron box, the exterior of which was enameled white, one side of which, its door, on hinges, lay opened on the tiles. I tensed. On two sides of the box, in red paint, was a Kef, in block printing. Kef, of course, is the initial letter not only of the Gorean expression ‘Kajira,’ the most common Gorean expression for a female slave, but also ‘Kajirus,’ the most common Gorean expression for a male slave. The block printing indicated that the box was suitable for a male slave. This could also, of course, have been determined from its size which, though small, was larger than would have been that in which women would be placed. Such boxes, for women, wore marked also with red on white, but the letter, of course, would be the cursive Kef, which is also used as a common slave brand for imbonded females.” Fighting Slave of Gor, 118. “Curiosity is not becoming in a kajirus.” Magicians of Gor, 436. “The plural for slaves considered together, both male and female, or for more than one male slave is ‘kajiri’.” Magicians of Gor, 437. |
